Fedora Installation

I donloaded the fadora iso and debian as well after i burned them on dvd i went to install it but for some reason when i select to boot form cd it doesn't load it i tried different cd just in case they were bad but still i had the same problem it doesn't load the boot file.
Can any one tell me why that is?

When you Burnt the CD did you tell the Software to make it a "Bootable" CD?

Try again and make sure you use that option.
Either the iso you downloaded is corrupt "did you try a md5sum check ?". Or you computer BIOS is not set to boot from a CD..you dont need to make the CD a bootable CD because the ISO sets this automatically.
