Passing a string between forms

Hi, would it be possible for someone to give me an example or advice on how to pass a string between forms. When my program starts it asks the user their name and then their name is then saved as a string (UserNameStr). My program uses many forms and I would like to access the user name string from them all. Any help would be great, thanks.
