Webserver - Novell Open Enterprise Server

Hi Everyone,

We are running a Netware 6.6 Open Enterprise Server.
We've always been using Netware just as a file-server.  However, we now also require web-server functionality from the Netware server.

By dumping the web-pages in a folder, could a web-service easily be configured to publish these pages?
It will just be opened on the LAN, so no firewall functionaliy required at this stage.

Great, I didn't imagine that it was that easy ..

Do you perhaps know what the command is to start the Apache service?
I believe this will be a NLM file?
I assume you are running OES on Netware and not Linux.

If that is the case, you can get details from the following link:

http://www.novell.com/documentation/oes/web_apache/index.html?page=/documentation/oes/web_apache/data/ah8bqoz.html#ah8bqoz

Good, looks like we will have to make a decision at this point, whether My-SQL, PHP etc will be used, or if we require NDS integration.

I think option 2.1.1 is most appropriate for our requirements, but will follow up with the design-people.
Thanks for all your help thus far ... will do some testing and provide feedback ...
Regards
