Local Group Policy Wireless Settings

I have a few laptops running Windows XP SP2 that I would like to configure a wireless LGPO on. Is this possible? If not, is there something that I could do?

You cannot edit wireless settings via local policy using standard XP SP2 adm's.
You require Server 2003 group policy  - and even then you only get restricted settings. (many more in Server 2008)
More info on 2003 policy: http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/Library/5bd33ef2-51e9-4128-bf45-850f6f1a162f1033.mspx
You really only get the basic settings to work if you are using RADIUS. (i.e. for Microsoft - IAS)

ASKER

Is there a script I can create, and run it every time the users login?
Well - you can change IP settings:
http://www.asp101.com/articles/stanley/nicsettings/default.asp
(netsh cannot be used remotely though)

Wireless settings are saved to/read from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WZCSVC\Parameters\Interfaces

Export this key with the values that you want - and I can do a script to put those in - normally I would suggest at startup...

Here you go, thanks! Please let me know if you need anything else.
