asked on

codebehind or codeFile???

Hi,

I am using ASP.NET in C#. I want to have a popup-calendar function on my webpage. So, I found a popup-calendar in this website(http://www.123aspx.com/redir.aspx?res=31817)  and used it for my unit-testing first. I worked fine.

So, next, I added it to my actual website. I added aspx and aspx.cs files and put the javascript calendarPicker() in my masterpage. But, somehow, it doesn't work.
First, it gave me an error "could not load type 'CalandarPopup.DataPicker'" So, I changed the "codebehind" to codeFile"
Then, it gave me an error "Missing partial modifier on declaration of type 'CalendarPopup.DatePicker'" So, I put "partial" in front of the declaration of class "DatePicker"
Then, it gives me an error that "The type 'CalendarPopup.DatePicker' already contains a definition for 'Calendar1' ". I haven't declared Calendar1 in any other place. I don't know what is the problem.

Any idea will help. Thank you.
