Entourage 2008 connects but won't sync with Exchange 2007

I have one Mac user that needs to connect to our Exchange 2007 server. He is using Entourage 2008 and says that it connects to the server but won't sync any folders. Doesn't give any errors, just sits there. I can't seem to find much in the way of documentation telling me what Entourage needs from the Exchange server to be able to sync. I have OWA and ActiveSync working externally.

Any ideas on what would make Entourage happy?

Thanks!

Thanks Strung. I already searched through that site but haven't found an answer yet. Most of it refers to older versions of both Exchange and Entourage. There is a server side issues section on that site that links to an MS support article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;823175 that talks about certain DAV verbs that Entourage needs but it references how to checked them only if you have URLscan installed.

I tried with and without...still no sync of folders.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Is there a document that outlines step by step what needs to be in place for Entourage 2008 to connect to Exchange 2007 - including these 2003 IIS folder curve balls?

Mine stopped working following automatic Microsoft updates last week to the server environment - before that never had a problem.
Here is the solution.  Worked great for me.  I am not using public folders or ldap lookups so I left those blank.

The problem I had was two fold,

1)  Exchange 2003 would by default create a web virtual directory called exchange.  Exchange 2007 does not do this by default so you must manually add the directory through exchange management shell using the following command:

[PS] C:\Windows\System32> New-OwaVirtualDirectory -name exchange -OWAVersion Exchange2003or2000 -VirtualDirectoryType mailboxes

2)  You must install and enable webdav.  You can install via instructions at: http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/350/installing-and-configuring-webdav-on-iis-70/

3)  In the entourage client setup you must specify the exchange server as:  mail.company.com/exchange/user@domain.com  and enable webdav

You can find exact instructions at http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/mobility-client-access/accessing-exchange-2007-apple-macintosh-part-2.html
