How do I find all network devices using WMI and Visual Basic 2005?

I need to write a program, to find all the network devices including servers, computers, routers, switches etc., using Visual Basic 2005.  I've been all over the internet searching for SNMP topics without much luck.  I've discovered that WMI maybe a better way to go, but that too has very limited info.  I was wondering if someone could give me a few examples or point me in the right direction.  I've seen a couple of sites that come close to giving me the info that I need but not quite all.

This was the site that seemed very promising, but fell short.  Perhaps, it's my inexperience with WMI.  Furthermore, this site doesn't allow you to download the source code, at least I haven't been able to find it.  It only allows you to download the compiled application.  Any other suggestion?  If not, thanks for your help and I'll continue working with this site.
I found the source code for you :)
