How many CAL is needed for SQL Server 2005?

I am wanting to test Microsoft CRM for my company. The application requires SQL Server 2005. Now I know that Microsoft CRM requires a CAL for each user-- I currently have 20 users that can be configured to access the software (one serial number gives me 20 users). However, since CRM uses SQL Server for the database do I also need to have 20 CAL for SQL Server too? (Assume I have 20 users)

If someone could explain this to me I would appreciate it.

I am trying to decide if I want to stay with an Open Source CRM or move to Microsoft CRM.

Hi rfgkey,

Thanks!! Thats answers my question. I guess really its better to go with the Processor license  instead of the CAL.

Take care!
