Kenneth, if you want me to help with this question then a full description of the environemnt (both ends) is required please. You haven't even told us what the 'other end' is...

What have you tried already to diagnose and fix the issue? What were the differences made?

ASKER

Sorry for that

remote internet clients VPN in to domain via isa 2006 which is behind a custom microtik firewall/router.  Clients connect using XPP standard VPN client with no ipsec is use.  at random intervals the vpn connection is unable to be established for new connection  (error 800) / however isa continues to service current connections.  a restart of the remote access service from isa management console reenables vpn clients to connect.
Still investigating the issue - no changes made to system as of yet

Thanks for your help - DHCP scope was limited and the isa had maxed out concurrent users (limit was set by previous support company)
Superb

thanks :)
