HARDWARE MALFUNCTIONS CONTACT YOUR VENDOR NMI: PARITY CHECK/MEMORY PARITY ERROR= THE SYSTEM HAS HALTED

I ADDED A 2 GB MEMORY ON A HP COMPAQ ML 350 SERVER RUNNING WINDOWS 2003 STANDARD EDITION. PRVIOUS MEMORY CONFIG. IS 512 MB ON INTERLEAVED MODE. AFTER RESTARTING, I GOT THE ERROR MESSAGE AND PULLING BACK THE ADDED MEMORY DOES NOT REMOVE THE ERROR MESSAGE ANYMORE.

Pull the CMOS Battery and pull your Power Cords this will reset the BIOS..

Also verify that your original memory is seated properly, the memory may have come loose when you seated or pulled the other memory.
