How can I remove the registration information of Spyware Doctor from my PC?

I orignally purchased Spyware Doctor with my own personal credit card, I set the automatic updates to manual to stop the subscription update. Now I want to purchase a new license under my business credit card and I can't get the registration info off the PC to reregister the software under the new license. Please do not respond with "Reload" as the answer.  Thanks :)

Yowu will probably have to do a regedtry edit to remove the information. try going through the registry and delete any references to spyware doctor and pc tools pertaining to spyware doctor. you can use the find feature under the edit menu.

Sorry, should have mentioned that I have uninstalled it, cleaned the registry, and deleted all files that I could find in Program Files (including common folder) and all Documents and Settings application folders.  This is not as easy as it sounds, I need first hand knowledge or a tested solution.  Thanks :)
This is directly from the PCtools website:

"I bought a new license but I cannot find anywhere to register it? What happened?
Your program may have an expired or another active code still registered in your computer. This will restrict your ability to register your new license.
Please contact Customer Support to resolve this issue and include your new license code and the license code that is displayed in the About window (found in the Help menu)."

It appears that you will have to contact their support for the resolution of your problem. Which should not be a problem if you are a paying customer. i'm pretty sure they could help you get everything up and running again.

I agree, except I have already emailed them almost a week ago and they are in Australia.  I pay for this service to find solutions when I cannot find them through normal channels.  If you have the solution to my problem please respond, if not please understand that I need help from some one with experience in this situation.  Thanks :)
maybe if you were a bit more detailed in the options you have already tried, things would be different. how was i supposed to know that you already tried that option. we are here to help in whatever way we can. i'm sorry that i told you to try something you already had done. like i said, how was i to know?  Just remember that we volunteer to help you paying members solve your problems. Good luck finding your answer.

You are making suggestions that would lead me to believe you don't know the answer, that is all.  Don't get upset, it's not worth it.  I just need help from someone that has seen or knows about this and can give me an answer.  That is how this works.  Your getting upset for what reason?  Let it go and move on.  Thank you for your efforts :)

Why doesn't EE have a way to add more points to aquestion that has gone unanswered for a extended length of time.  This would make more people pay attention to the issue and probably cause most questions that are closed to get answered.

Thanks.
did anyone come up with a solution to this problem yet?

be great if it could be posted here!

The links are not working.  Thanks :)
ACT-,
Adding points won't help in this case - if someone knew the answer, they would have helped already.

Thanks for the clues D, I got this from an old site:

To reset your license code in Spyware Doctor 5.

1. Save the following file, ArmAccess.dll into C:\Windows\System32\ http://support.pctools.com/manager/downloads.php?file=ArmAccess.dll

2. Save the following file, SpywareDoctorReset.exe to your Desktop http://support.pctools.com/manager/downloads.php?file=SpywareDoctorReset.exe

3. Double-click on the SpywareDoctorReset.exe file that was downloaded in step 2.

4. Restart Your PC

5. Open Spyware Doctor and click on 'Register' to enter your new license details. Kind Regards, Technical Support Team

These links are complete.  But you gave the answer.  Good Job!

Even though the answer had bad links it lead me to the solution.  Thanks for giving me the answer. :)
Hey - sorry about the links, how odd - they are fine on my blog where I originally posted them, and I just did a cut and paste - sorry! very pleased that you found the links and put them up though... ruddy spyware doctor! Best anti-spyware program, but has some very strange habits.

BTW - for nearly all our clients, we don't leave spyware doctor running constantly - it has a huge detrimental performance factor, and also causes instability in some rare, but frustrating, circumstances. Definitely the best spyware remover, but needs careful use and application in a corporate environment.

We don't use Spyware Doctor where a server is used (i.e. Client-Server networks).  But in a peer environment or stand-alone applications I don't use anything else.  I have used all AV available to test for customers and found that overall in complete view of system performance and real defense, there is not one better than Spyware Doc with AV.  I have never had any stability issues that could be directly or indirectly point toward SD and I have performance check the system with FutureMarks products and found that it doesn't eat up my CPU cycles like Norton, McAfee, PCCillian (or most any other Trend product), Panda, or even AVG.  Also, did I mention that all the above products, have been compromised by spy-malware?  What good is all that wasted CPU cycles.  I have had so many clients infected with the fore-mentioned products and have saved them time and again with SD, Prevx (which is one of the best security packages in the world, a bit CPU taxing), and RemoveIT (this software has saved ppl's systems again and again).  RemoveIT and NOD are two of the best free AV for you cheap skates, paid version's are a little CPU hungry as well, but good protections overall.  No sir, I don't just like Spyware Doctor w/ Anti-Virus.  I love it!
To all... PC Doctor has removed their link to the removal/reset keys.... However I just had an online chat with their Tech Rep and he is sending both the Reset Appls for Spyware Doctor and Registry Mechanic. Here are the correct links:

Please follow the instructions below to reset your Spyware Doctor and/or Registry Mechanic licenses so you could register with your desired license.

To Reset Spyware Doctor:
_____________________________

1. Shut down Spyware Doctor (and Registry Mechanic) by right-clicking on the system tray icon and select "ShutDown".

2. Click on the link below to run the Reset Tool for Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus:
ftp://database:qwerty@css-ftp.pctools.com/PCTResetSDDisabled.zip

*For Registry Mechanic:

3. Click on "Reset Registration" button.
