Resizing Partition with available free space

I have a Dell PowerEdge 2900 Server running Windows 2003 Server. I have a partition that is running low on space. I want to resize this partition larger with free unallocated space I have. What is the best way to go with resizing?

No this is not the C: drive, but doesn't Dell have some utilities that can do the same thing?

I have used BootIT before on a W2K3 server to expand C:\ drive.

use some thing like partition magic. There are also many others. but with these kinds of tools you can do it with data on the disk.

with tools like Fdisk or disk manager in windows, you will lose all data if you try to resize

You can safely use diskpart with data on the disk. I have done it many times. However I would always recommend that you have a known good backup before trying to do this just in case something goes wrong but its unlikely.
