Appears to be on Battery but isn't

Hey all -
I have a Windows 2K3 server that I've been trying to patch to current levels but Windows 2K3 SP2 won't install if teh server is running on batteries. ; unfortunately, it isn't. There are no batteries in the server (save for the CMOS battery) only 2 redundant power supplies; nevertheless, the OS (when I go to Control Panel->Power Settings) thinks that the system is running on battery power. This prohibits the installation of the updates. Any ideas?

Server specs:
Dell 2650
4GB RAM
2 Dual Core Xeon 2.8 Ghz Proc
RAID1/RAID5

Do you have UPS software installed on the server?

Yes but I uninstalled it to see if that would work. No go.

What about the power coming into the power supplies.  Have you checked that?  Is this a recent change on the server?  This seems like an issue with the power.

No, I checked the Dell Open Manage settings, the power supplies are OK. I checked the connections, they're OK. I rebooted after removing the APCC Consoles. No change. The weird thing is that it shows that it is running on battery power but there is no battery in the unit. My last step is to plug it in directly to the wall but that would be my last resort.
