I need a reliable, easy to use utility to restart my Windows box on a schedule (i.e., once a week).
Any recommendations?

You can write a batch file and use the shutdown command already in xp.
Create a batch file called restart.bat. Edit the file and add c:\windows\system32\shutdo
wn -r
Then schedule a task and add the restart.bat file to the scheduled task.
Scheduled tasks are under accessories-> system tools -> task scheduler.
