Use iPhone as a WiFi adapter for my PC (which does not have WiFi support)

I have an unlocked v1.1.4 iPhone and I want to use it as a WiFi adapter on my PC. I mean, I want to connect the iPhone to my PC using the USB cable and use iPhone's wifi from my computer

well i don't know how with the iphone but most mobiles allow you to use them as a crappy dial-up wireless modem with about 56kb a second by using the edge/WAP connections.

however what your saying-i think- is you want to use the wireless connection, this is impossible because a wireless connection is only available between device and router which in turn needs to be connected to either a phone line, another device with usb hsdpa modem or similar.

One thing - in order to do the Tethering you will need to jailbreak (hack) your phone - this will void the warranty but is legal. Do at your own risk, more info here:
