Old Group Policy still being applied
I have a GP that applies a kiosk mode with automatic logon. When I was testing it, I made some changes to it and it works fine now.
I have one computer in the OU that is still picking up the old GP. I have tried gpupdate /force to no avail.
I have tried disjoining it from the domain, renaming the computer and adding it back. When I put it back in the OU, it applies the old GP again.
I am running in a windows 2000 domain with the XP GP snapins
There is nothing in the event logs to point to a problem

Remove then add the computer to the domain. that should force it to work.
Nicolausj, Imagnl stated that the system was removed and added to the domain without effect.
You might give this a try.

To trigger Group Policy application for the local computer, type the following line at a command prompt:
secedit /refreshpolicy machine_policy
