Standalone Flash player which can actually resume playing from a forwarded location

I have a swf file which I saved to my local drive. It's about 25 minutes. I have downloaded several standalone Flash players and they all suffer from the same problem. When I forward the player to a frame towards the end, it doesn't play from there anymore. Is this a limitation of Flash with large files?

This also happens with the Flash player from Adobe. Is there a more sophisticated player out there?

I use FLV player, and do not have that problem on most files, there are 1 or 2 that do but thats rare.
