Administrator account lost permissions
This is very strange, but my vista buisiness edition latop has suddenly started behaving funny.
I have only one account which is administrator, it does have a password.
I log on and programs do not work correctly because file permissions seem to have been changed.
I first noticed that Word said something about normal.dot being changed, do I want to save changes, so I said yes, then got the cannot save due to no file permissions. So I went to the folder normal.dot is located in and I can write to it just fine.
I then tried other apps like web cam recording apps, which now cannot record, and a tweak vista app which now opens with a boat load of errors.
I created a new test account, logged into it and everything works fine there.
Any help appreciated.

Sorry for the delay, yeah that is about the only way I have found around it too, but it bothers me that it happened and I do not know why.
I reinstalled vista and created an admin account besides administrator, so if it happens again, at least I can remove the corrupt account. Thanks for your help.
