I'm having trouble getting a PIX 506E firewall to boot. It will not boot past the display of the PCI table.
The console output is shown below between the ****begin**** and ***end*** markers
****Begin console output****
CISCO SYSTEMS PIX FIREWALL

Normally it should continue with messages like:
Cisco Secure PIX Firewall BIOS (4.2) #0: Mon Dec 31 08:34:35 PST 2001
Platform PIX-506E
System Flash=E28F640J3 @ 0xfff00000
Use BREAK or ESC to interrupt flash boot.
Use SPACE to begin flash boot immediately.
BUT THIS FIREWALL WILL NOT BOOT PAST THE PCI DEVICE TABLE. I never get the chance to "Use BREAK or ESC" - so can't even get to monitor mode (Yes I have tried)
Does anyone have any ideas on how to recover this device, or is it totally un-repairable?
