Float ; 3/2 is not 1
Likely a dumb questionb...
but
DECLARE @Table TABLE(
Value FLOAT,
)
UPDATE @Table
SET Value = 3/2
SELECT * from @Table
Value is displayed as 1 instead of 1.5
However, if I 'SET Value = 1.5' then it displays as 1.5.
What am I doing wrong?
