troubleshooting Question

mail box created for administrator only

I have installed exchange 2007 in windows 2008 std .(my domain controller also same computer).
the problum is i created many uers but the users  mail boxes not getting created.only administrator having the mail box.another issue is i cannot send out side mail from administrator user.i created send connector also.
any problum that i installed exchange 2007 in  domain i used exchange 2003 before.
if bcoz of that can u suggest me any other solution (i have a windows 2003 ent 32 bit domain controller can i make this as a domain controller for excahnge 2007 which i installed in windows 2008)
can u plz help me
