How can I migrate exchange mailboxes from SBS 2003
One of our client is changing the server, and we will need to migrate the mailboxes from the old exchange server to the new one. The new server will with different domain name, but will also run SBS 2003. Which is the best way to export/import the mailboxes? I researched over the internet and found that Microsoft have some migration tools, but could find information about what are they migrating.Also I will need to transfer the users, is there any way to import them instead of creating them one by one?
Considerr using the swing migration http://www.sbsmigration.com/
If money isnt an issue I would also recommend looking at http://sbsmigration.com as you will get support during the process.
However if money is an issue, as it can be in SBS enviroments, you can accomplish this using;
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884453
I used this method to swing our domain to a temporary server so as to rebuild the original server and then swung it back.
