Receiving PCL XL Error message on HP 4600DN

I am receiveing an error message from HP 4600DN printer.  See below:
PCL XL error
  Subsystem: USERSTREAM
  Error: MissingData
  Operator: ReadFontHeader
  Position: 22
I currently have PCL 6 drivers installed.  I previously reverted back to PCL 5 driver to see if that help, of it did not.  I am at a lost of what to do to correct this problem.  Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Did you install the full HP drivers or just the server driver?  If you have the full drivers installed, uninstall them then install the minimum drivers (use the manual install where you specify the printer, have disk, ...).

I downloaded the PCL 6 print drivers from the HP website.  I am not sure if it was full or just server drivers.  What is the destention?  I did not uninstall the drivers however.
Why would I start to receive the error suddenly?  It has been an excellent printer with no change in configuration.

Did you get any font manager software with the printer?
The error could be a font substitution problem.
This can happen when a new piece of software or printer hardware is added(especially a cheap inkjet) the font data tables can be overwritten.
Installing agfa font manager or a similar product (often free with a laser printer) often cures it.

Solution!  I uninstalled/reinstalled the printer from my print server and installed the PCL 6 print driver.  Problem corrected!  However, the users with the printer previously installed on their desktop/laptop were unable to delete the printer from their printers menu unless, they disconnected their computer(s) from the network first and than deleted the printer.  Many thanks for your help with the solution.
