How can I create a new certificate if the "Server Certificate" button is greyed out in IIS 6.0?

I need to renew a certificate on an IIS server.  I do not recall if this server was moved or if the certificate was originally generated on an older system.  In any event I am in IIS and selecting my Web Site.  When I Right click on the Site and select properties I then switch to the Directory Security tab.

At that point no wizard starts and the "Serer Certificate" Option is greyed out.   How do I get  to create a new CSR so that I can add a renewed cert?

I should also mention that I CAN view Certificate and Edit, but that is it.   I don't see an obvious delete or anythign else that might help me.

Thanks

Are you accessing the properties of a root web site (rather than a sub/virtual web)?

See  now you have me all confused ... Sorry but I am really not much of an IIS guy.

This is what the Screen Says

Web Sites
    Default Web Site
         My Web Site

I right click on "My Web Site"  Which has a gear icon to the right of it

When I click properties the Local Path is in Inetpub\wwwroot\"my site name"
