Swing effect

I am trying to have a swinging effect from say:

The top of my flash movie, a 2 px line at the end an image is attached to it, a movie clip lets say. I want to give it an idea of free flowing, swinging, to move through out and if possible drag and move it. Use some of these as my navigation.

Any ideas on that?

here's a sample..there is a trace on the movieclip and that is where you will put the code for navigation..bear in mind you have to click on the clip to drag it but in doing so you also trigger the navigation code..you can also nudge it to make it swing more but it tends to move around in terms of position with a will of it's own ..due to the 2 actions..kinda fun :)

Oh nice! I will play with it and try to get it to what I want it to do.

On top of that, do you know how I would do a rope effect? Being lose and moving around, like a fishing line so to speak.

Thank you for the FLA, I might have some questions for you, understanding with it and what not.
don't push yr luck:)

Do you know if there are any articles on the rope idea I am talking about?

Nice...let me take a look at this! Thank you!

I was wondering if you could go over and comment the AS for me, just for i have an idea of what it is doing for my sake, if you dont mind!

Also, i was wondering if it is possible to change the line thickness to something around 1px or 2px.

And how do i attached a movie clip of mine to it, I couldn't figure these things out.

Thanks,

Ryan
