Accidently deleted user in AD need to re-attach re-created user to old mailbox

Greetings all,

I recently accidently deleted a user when I was in the Exchange systemn administrator under RECIPIENTS>ALL Users>alljcceo  <--(my domain)  I wanted to remove the user form the ALL JCCEO mailing list , not the user account from AD, but that was the result. I saw in short order what my mistake was. However,  After re-adding the user in AD and assigning the same username and pass I do not see where I can create a connection to the "old" mailbox for that user.  (Or for that matter Undelete the user account and restore it to as it was this morning.)  I am only given the option to CREATE a mailbox.
I have in my exchange server the option to NOT delete any mailbox until it has been backed up, which is perhaps the only reason the mailbox is still there.

How can I re-attach this user to her old mailbox?

Thanks KCTS,

I created the new user with no mailbox.   What will the Cleanup agent do aside from mark that account I need with an X?  (for account deletion I assume)   Are there other possible ramifications of running the cleanup agent?
Brian Pierce

All  cleanup agent does is validates which mailboxes are associated with valid accounts and marks the ones which arn't - no ramifications.
