Migration from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 Cross Forest

What are the Best Practises for migrating of Exchange 2000 mailboxes and AD user accounts to Exchange 2003 and AD user accounts in a cross forest environment? What is the batting order for user accounts and mailboxes? I was going to use ADMT v3 and the mail migration wizard.
