Thanks. I managed to get it installed without having to use boot floppies. I dont know why MS said it could not be done. Perhaps the MS Select version of the media I have is a little different.<br />
That winimage software could well come in handy later though.

I wish to install NT4 Server into Virtual Server 2005 R2 so that I can perform a upgrade on it to server 2003 as part of project to switch from NT4 to 2003 domain controllers.<br />

I read that you cannot simply boot off the CD and have to create floppy images. Since the server does not have a floppy drive I guess I will need to make floppy images.<br />
