It was shown to me in a previous post. It is an example of searching a list as you type. However it has a funny problem when you first type an "I" or "i". Try starting the form and before doing anything type an i. It will throw that error. At least it did for me... Any other character no problems???
I was planning on using it as an example to add in to my crm database.
Any thoughts on this one?

This query is missing from what you uploaded:

I actually didn't upload it, I think it was boag2000. The query should be in the access file that you downloaded from the link. I just checked it and worked for me.

Also ... I don't get the error for those letters. Seems odd that you would get A 2110 Focus error ... since the list box is never disabled.

qrySearchNames is not in the mdb I down loaded. However it appears that name was changed to qryDisplayNames. I did a Compact & Repair on the MDB which fixed that.

Try doing a Compact & Repair. I do not get the error ... and the error doesn't make sense.

I think it is something strange with my wireless keyboard. I will probably just close this question in awhile. The i key was letting me move from shortcuts on my desktop like an arrow key would... only diagonal. Really strange and makes me upset cause the keyboard is new..
