Hi,
Can you please tell me if you GC is available?

This situation that you are having are DC Problems, basically the Exchange Server can not contact the DC / GC.

Can you check if have your AD infrastructure running?

Yes all other exchange servers are working.

How do you check if AD infrastructure is running?
To check the Ad, you simple need to see if all the systems are workn, users validating , if you can access active directory users and computers.

Can you please tell me if you can ping other servers from the exchange?

Yes AD users and computers are working and I can ping other servers fine including domain controllers
Can you also check if your netlogon services and and the computer browser.

netlogon didn't start and I manually started.
And the computer browser services.?

Please try to mount the the exchange databases?
Can you do that?

NM
Install the tcp/ip again , hopefully it will solve the problem

yes computer brower service is running.

I installed tcp/ip again and still no luck.
Did you reboot the machine?
Avatar of Infamus

ASKER

Yes many times
After you restarted the netlogon services,
Did you started all the exchange server services?

Error code: 0x8007077F - This means that no site/subnet has been defined for the Exchange server. Check the IP address of the Exchange server, define a subnet in Active Directory, and assign that subnet to the proper site

The problem/solution is described in the event "No site name is available
for this machine".

Create a site containing the subnet the exchange server is installed in in
ad sites and services and it should work.

Can you tell me the step by step instruction how to do this?

Thank you so much
Please post back!
Can you run dcdiag from one of your DCs?

These errors are pointing to Exchange not being able to access AD.

Can you also post information from an "ipconfig /all"?

I checked the subnets and it is there.

Strange thing is when I try to connect to different domain controller in Sites and services, I see old computer name for this exchange server.  I deleted those in DNS.
How many dns servers you have configured in your server?
Avatar of Infamus

ASKER

two
Try setting up only one DNS Server.
But be sure that the one that you choose is working correctly.

Also check this.
In your DC / GC try to ping the exchange server and see if it resolves correctly the name of exchange server.

Hello, I just ran into this today, after I created a second site and IP in my 2003 active directory sites and services. To get the services to start again, I had to create a subnet to match up with my default first site.

ASKER

Subnet was already there and I even deleted it and created new one.
Ok,
Do you still have the problem?
Do you have DNS Server installed in that computer?
If so, Can you please specify on the DNS Server Settings the Primary to be the local computer
