The Object could not be found - New appointment error on shared calendar Outlook 2007

One user in our office cannot make new appointments on another users calendar. They have no problem adding a new contact, editing existing appointments, copying an appoinment from their calendar to the other users calendar, deleting appointments. They are using Vista Business and Outlook 2007. I had them login to an XP workstation with Outlook 2003 and they can add a new appointment without an error. The error says "The object could not be found."

I have tried deleting the frmscache.dat in the FORMS folder but it doesn't work. I have also tried a new user profile on the machine with no luck.

I ahve triple checked that the permissiions are correct.

Have you tried the Office Diagnostics in 2007.
In Outlook go to Help>Office Diagnostics

Does this PC have the latest Office 2007 SP installed:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=9EC51594-992C-4165-A997-25DA01F388F5&displaylang=en

Is this person setup as a delegate on this other persons Calendar.
In the other users Outlook, go to Tools>Options>Delegates.
If they are, just remove them and re-add them back with the same permissions.

Can this user make new appointments on the other users calendar if Outlook is opened in Safe Mode:
Start>Run>outlook.exe /safe

Might try cleaning the Free/Busy Info:
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /cleanprofile       might also help

I have actually tried all of those things and no probs were found by diagnostics, the latest 2007 update made no difference, I have already removed and then re-added the user to the calendar, safe mode does not work, cleaning the free/busy & profile did not work either...

I assume it has to be something with Vista &/or Office 2007 because everything works on another workstation running XP and Office 2003.

YES!!!!! That did it. I also tried leaving the cached mode checked and just unchecking cached for shared folders and that worked as well.

Thanks!
I had the same issue and this worked for me. Thanks!
