Unable to Remote Desktop: "Reason: 516 - Windows Sockets connect failed."
Unable to Remote Desktop to internal server. receive the following error: "Reason: 516 - Windows Sockets connect failed." The server has been rebooted many times and this did work about three weeks ago and sicne then, no changes were made.

I am able to ping successfully. RDC is enabled. I have tried turning it off and back on as well. This is Server 2003 R2.

1. Can You Able to Ping The Server IP
2. And Check The RDC is Enabled on that server.
3. Is the server is Running With Service Pack?
