are you familiar with the ASP.Net 2.0 Configuration Tool? here's a good primer:

you will probably need to enable "full trust" for your shared resource.

How do i enable full trust for my shared resource.
I have set up a website in IIS and path of the files for website are located on a shared drive. Can you explain what i have to do make this work.

Do these steps need a reboot of the machine.
Because when i make these changes the website does not work right away but after couple hours it starts working fine,I am trying to make sense out of this.
It gives a parse error which does not make sense.
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.

good question. i believe it needs an IIS restart (or an application recycle perhaps). i suppose a reboot of the machine wouldn't hurt, but i don't think it's necessary.

what is the parse error? i doubt it is related...
