Group Calendar does not work on web

A while back I tested Group Calendar feature. It worked on client and web. A lot of changes have occurred since then and now there is interest in using this feature once again. I am sorry I have not been involved in making most of these changes so I don't know what the changes have been.

Currently, the problem is that most of our users are on iNotes Web Access v 6. When they try to open Group Calendar view it never opens. However, when opening their database from Domino the group calendar works fine.

I have tried to determine the problem....one thing I did was to change the setting for:
"SMTP allowed within the local Internet domain" from 'All Messages" to "Disabled". I have not noticed any favorable or unfavorable results from making this change.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Thanks for reviewing. I do not get any error messages.
I have tried with several different email addresses.
We only use Internet Explorer and when it functioned for us in the past we used Internet Explorer...While I have made sure that a pop-up blocker is not the problem.....I have not tried different security settings. Do you have suggestions about the type of security setting that could influence this situation?

I think you are on to something. I am now at least  sometimes getting a message that says" Not found http:cookies. Ensure setting of your browser cookie enabled and reload"  On PC I made sure the Privacy settings "allow" cookies from our  email domain but still received error message if I am lucky or the 'waiting status bar '. I turned off webphisher and I have pop-ups allowed on email.

But most of the time I don't get that message and the status bar say " Waiting for http://........nsf

I will check  your suggestions about mail server security and ie 6.
