When printing PDF files of invoices from a corporate application on an HP LaserJet 4200N printer the wrong characters are sometime printed on the correct place on the page. This problem only affects the parts of the page which are not templates: the fixed areas reproduce correctly. The problem is sporadic: the file may print OK from a different computer or if another attempt is made to print.
PDF files are printed using Adobe 6.0.1 running on Windows 2000 Professional. The printer is attached to a machine also running Windows 2000 Professional. The drivers used for the printer are for the HP 4200L printer.
