Is there a standard Network Color Scheme???
Hello experts,
I am making a diagram of my office-network and was wondering if there is such a thing as a color standard. Does Cisco or CompTIA have a best practices as far as color-coding goes?
I want to color code;
1. Different speed ethernet cables(10/100/1000)
2. Active/dead drops
3. First and Second floor cables
4. Cat 5/Cat 6 cables
Is there an industry standard? I tried to google this and didn't find anything.
Thanks

No, there isn't. It's up to you to define your own "standard" for your company.
