Hello Experts
Its really weird problem!!!!!!
An email message with an attachment ( 70 Kb PDF file)  is sent to 70 emails address( pop accounts ) which are type in 'Bcc'  field of the message. Even After 4 hours Non of the recipient received this email. I have done a test from one of the other PC running same setup as mine to my personal email 'To' field (Gmail ) and my office email address in 'Bcc' ( exchange mailbox) . I have received it on my personal email but not in my Office outlook 2003 ( Exchange accounts ) . Can some please let me on how can I get this resolved. I have to hid all the recipients from one another. Please suggest as soon as possible. Thanks

Server : windows 2003 SBS R2 ( 40 Users) ,Exchange , Fileserver.
client : Windows XP PRO SP2, Outlook 2003

Have you tried cutting it down from 70 to say 40?  If you're sending 70 all at once to the SAME domain, that server is most likely rejecting your email because it thinks its under attack.  Also, the Exchange server settings could be set to not send that much out at once.

Try cutting it down and retrying or, try on one or two individual users while BCC to one or two individual users and see if you're still having that problem.
If you have to hide all the recipients, just use a distribution list instead.  As long as you don't expand the list, Outlook will send out SEPARATE emails to each recipient on the list and they will ONLY see their own email address listed.

This is the preferred method anyhow, because BCC emails often go into people's junk email folders.

Hi guys sorry I was dragged away with other priorities. Ok the sender is using exchange account and receiver on POP  accounts( Gmail ). None of the receivers are receiving emails when their address is entered in Bcc field. I have to use Bcc as I want to isolate from each other. receiver has confirmed that its not arrived even in junk folder.  really wired !!!. any more suggestion please let me know.

I did tried one to one with bcc(receiver address)  but didnt work. so its not a problem with exchange attack or spam  issue.
Thanks

"I have to use Bcc as I want to isolate from each other"

You aren't listening to what I've already told you.  If you use a DISTRIBUTION LIST it will isolate each email from eachother.  It will put their address SEPARATELY into the "TO" field and send out SEPARATE emails to each recipient.

Try that please.

I do understand you suggestion but it is not practical for me to create distribution list every time. As recipients changes every week ( new list ). My question is Why the recipient wont received emails when their address is in Bcc like another Pop2 accounts. I totally appreciate that you want me to create the Distribution list which will isolate and solve the current problems but it will simple wont work in long run in this case as I will end up creating a new distribution list every time when some want to send email like this.

Any other suggestion guys.
Please help.
Thanks

So, are you copying and pasting a list into the "BCC" field then?  If so, where are you copying this list from?  If its a text file, what program are you using to view that text file with?

Because you verywell could be copying ANSI codes into the "BCC" field without even knowing it which could cause some addresses to be invalid.

Hi Jeff
No I am not using the copy paste. the All 70 address are part of GAL in AD contacts. So when I start typing their 1st few letter of their name I will get list to choose from the drop down list ( this list exist in my N2K file as well) and I have followed the same procedure in choosing every one from the n2k list at Bcc field. Is their any thing wrong in doing this ? Please let me know

Thank you very much
