Non-Admin Stop/Start the Print Spooler

I need to allow a non-administrator permission to stop and start the print spooler.  I have read other threads to do this through Group Policy in the following location "Gpedit.msc, expand Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, System Services.".  The problem is that I do not have System Services in the tree view.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you run gpedit.msc, you are editing the local policy and I think you are trying to do this on a Domain. Instead, go to Active Directory Users & Computers and edit the group policy there. You will then find the path you described. I hope that helped.

ASKER

The server is part of a domain (file/print server) but it is also the server that the printers are installed on so the local policy seemed to make sense.

Given that info, does your answer still apply?

Thanks.
