It gave me this error when I tried to move it from E2k3 to E2k7, but it appears to have moved properly as it now shows as a User mailbox instead of a legacy Mailbox.
How can I confirm this?
Thanks

It shows the mailbox resides on a server that was long ago decommissioned. It appears I have about 7 of them. I'd like to keep the data that resides in them if possible.
get-mailbox -dentity username | FL
and get me the result for both mailbox, one properly moved and that mailbox

How do I cut/paste the info out of powershell?
right click and choose mark, and click and hold left mouse button and mark the part you want to copy, and right click it and choose copy and paste here
or do the whatever command by this way
Get-transportconfig -server xyz > C:\result.txt
and it will get you the output in the C:\results.txt file
or do the whatever command by this way
Get-transportconfig -server xyz > C:\result.txt

These specific mailboxes are on a server that has been decommissioned. I attempted move via Exchange Management Console 2007.
well, why you didn't say that from the beginning ? :)
there is no way to get that mailbox back otherthan restoring it from a backup by any mean
you can remove this one, and export backuped up one from backup and link it to the required user, or if ur backup software doesn't enable you to do so, you can export it as pst file and import it in a new mailbox
Thanks for your time

I did. See 5/23 entry. Now that I have it up and running my issue is that OWA disconnects quite frequently.
Any input on that?
Thanks

ok I misunderstood that, what do you maen by OWA disconnect ? is this user able to logon to OWA ?? and what the applicaiton node in the event viewer says
ASKER
OWA just randomly disconnects whether on Public or Private selection.
I've read the article about adding a DWord entry in MSExchange/OWA but can't find that entry in my registry.

and OWA disconnect for that user and for all users?
ASKER
yes
please provide informative answers
yes or all users or one user ??

ASKER
yes on both
now there is two issues:
the first user we are testing (database is mandatory) and we finished this by restoring it from a backup to pst then import it in exchange 2007 as described..
first tell me if we settled on the first issue

The first issue is resolved for the most part. The mailboxes were on a server that had been decommissioned. The data is unretrievable but it's no great loss.

I get the same error when trying to move the domain Admin mailbox from our old exchg2003 server into the new exchg2007 server. If I delete the damaged mailbox, it would also delete the user account. Is there another way to delete the mailbox on the old and re-create a mailbox on the new? I am pretty sure it's corrupted from a crash that occured a few months ago.
