The office has experience a slow DSL connection in the last few weeks. &nbsp;Users have reported differences in download and upload speed during the course of the day. &nbsp;Unfortunately, on the occasions when I've had a chance to check performance, it's been pretty good (download speeds around 1.1 Mbps and upload speeds around 0.7 Mbps). &nbsp;Ideally, I'd like some type some type of alarmer functionality (like that found in the Windows Performance Monitor) that sends me an alert when download speed falls below a threshold. &nbsp;To my knowledge, I can't get it done with perfmon.msc. &nbsp;Is there a tool out there that I could get it done with? &nbsp;

Slow Office DSL

The term broadband commonly refers to high-speed Internet access that is always on and faster than the traditional dial-up access. Broadband includes several high-speed transmission technologies such as digital subscriber line (DSL), cable, fiber optics, wireless (for which there is a separate topic), satellite and broadband over powerlines (BPL).
