How to load nesessary SCSI host controller drivers prior to moving os to another hardware

Hello!

I'm planning to move the OS from one hardware to another. When I do imaging I get a BSOD stating that my SCSI host raid controller is not found. What is the procedure to load the driver prior to imaging so that I won't get the same BSOD again?

Hi
are you imaging in windows or in DOS(before windows).
What program are you using?
Are you imaging from the main drive to another and then you will connect new drive to new computer?

Install the driver used on the  new machine, or at least put the driver files on it in advance.

You may have to do a repair install, with the drivers from a Floppy, depends on how smart the BIOS is.

I hope this helps !

I'm actually planning to use Norton Ghost with peer-to-peer tcp/ip connection to copy all data from one pc to another. I was thinking about installing a host scsi controller before making reboot to bart-pe.
