How to install Hp Proliant DL320 G3 server

I'm installing a Proliant DL320 G3 server which has a INTEL 82801FR SATA RAID Controler. When I boot with Proliant essentials software CD I get an error message that the version of the boot controller is not supported. So I try to install a fresh version of Windows but I get another error. Windows passes initial formatting and copying but then when restarts gives me another error, that the hard disc is not found. Maybe it's because I don't have a floppy with appropriate drivers. besides, if I download the driver from Intel I can't install them because I have no floppy drive on the server. It's actually the first time I install server on Proliant DL320 server, so maybe there's something I miss. Please, help!

The BIOS might have a function that you may have to enable, it goes somethings like the extend that emulates a floppy disk with the drivers. I don't have a DL320, but have many other DL series servers.

You need to download th elatest version of prolian essentials mate or buy a new usb floppy drive for a tenner.

OK. Everything works good. in fact Windows startsmart didn't see the controller, but Windows did. The smart start resolved many problems with drivers though! Thanks a lot!
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.

The Smart Start Cd will not work with the mebeded controllers, it does work only with the Smart array  controller due to the fact it is propietary technology.
Now if you do not have a floppy or cannot acces one, you might need to create a slip stream cd. you might be looking at the application Nlite  to do this or if you have a linux box just mount the image and put the driver on the drivers folder.
