Can I install a 32bit Project Server 2007 license on a 64bit machine?

I recently obtained Project Server 2007 and I am trying to install it. I am getting "They key is incorrect..."  However, I am typing it correctly (tried MANY times).  So, now I wonder if what I received was a 32bit license key?  Would I not be able to install a 32bit license key on a 64bit machine?  I didn't think this would be an issue, it would only function at a 32bit level, using WOW...etc.  Does anyone know if you absolutely NEED a 64bit license for Project Server?
