Keep form maximized - Access 2000

In my access database I have a main form which includes a botton for reports. When the I click the 'reports' button it goes to a small  'password' form.  When the 'password' form opens the main form minimizes. How can I get the main form to stay maximized when the 'password' form opens.

Databasemx,

the Modal Property is set to "No". Should it be "Yes"?

No, model should not be set to "Yes" unless you are specifically wanting the form to behave that way (Microsoft Access help has a good explination of Model forms, so I won't explain here).

The solution was to remove or comment out the line of VBA code that minimized the main forms (or modify the event macro if VBA was not used).
