Import word doc contents into access field

I am trying desperately to process a number of word files.

I need to take each one and grab the contents and paste it into an access field so that I can manipulate it and spit it back out to one large ascii text file.

I have code to browse, find the files, I know how to open a word file from access.

How can I grab the text and paste it into a field?

Thanks!

I can't seem to get it to work twice in a row.  It works find on the first try, then when it opens the word doc, it sticks and will not complete that code.

I will keep working on it, and let you know. If you have any other idea, please post.

Thanks,

I can't diagnose that from here.
Perhaps we should reconsider what you are trying to do.

What manipulation do you want to do with the text? It may be easier to do that while it is still in the Word document.

It got me this far, and I am satisfied, so I will award the points!!!
