How to get message count by subject

Howdy Experts!

Running MS Exchange Server 2003 and I have an assignment to determine the number of messages processed by the server on a particular day, for a particular subject.  I have tried the Message Tracking Center and although I can find the messages - there is no count, and no way group/sort by subject.

Any suggestions!??

Thanks!

Hello,

You are referring to the SMTP server logs?  They do not include message subject....
kieran_b

No, I am not referring to the SMTP server logs, which is why I gave you a specific path to the message tracking logs.

Thank you. Your suggestion was perfect. I was looking for a tool to do this and already had a great one. Excel. Thanks again.
