Norton Ghost v12

When I try to restore my C: drive it asks me to do so from recovery mode, using the Norton recovery disk.
I tried restoring my images in recovery mode and I looked into my external USB drive J: where I saved the images but I can't see any images there at all in recovery mode.  However I can see the images when in normal mode in drive C:
So I am unable to restore my image from the external drive  to drive c:  Any ideas?

You already closed the problem and gave me a grade of C, but haven't solved it.

Let me see if I can help before you give up.

Did you create the Ghost backup from within Windows?  Are you sure it was created with Ghost 12?  You can tell by the extension of the file:  if it is something like C_Drive0001.v2i then it is Ghost 10/12/14 extension.  v2i is the Ghost 10/12/14 extension.

If your is .gho or some other extension then it was probably created with Ghost 2003.
