Saving Conversations with Emoticons
hi,
I am saving on MS Word conversations of Microsoft Live Messenger 8.1, yet all of them do not include the emoticons in the original conversation. On the contrary, when using ebuddy, the emoticons are saved in the word file.
any idea?

If the emoticons in ebuddy transfer as imagines to word, then they are saved as images. If they transfer from messenger as font [such as :) ] for a smile, then word sees that as text, not a picture (ie, emoticon).

Civil,
Is there something missing from my answer that needs additional clarification? Or was this an acceptable solution, althought missing a little bit to completely solve it?

hi again,
i asked why the emoticons from ebuddy save as pictures in word while emoticons from msn do not show at all, even not as text like :)
this means word is recognizing the images from ebuddy. this is the contradiction i was trying to get an answer to.
