From the server itself I also get a 550 error. I also tried right clicking and 'Login as'. I've now got anonymous access enabled on the FTP site. The problem is still the same.<br />

This is a fresh installation of Server 2008. I'm trying to get a ftp site working. I've obiously not got something right....<br />

My sever ip address is 192.168.16.2 The default website is bound to this address. I've added a second address to the Local Area Connection: 192.168.16.3 I've added an ftp site in IIS 7 and bound it to this address. &nbsp;From withiin IIS I can explore the physical location. But if I try to access the ftp site from Windows explorer on another machine on the network, the site is unavailable. I tried opening windows explorer at the Server console and accessing <a href="ftp://192.168.16.3" rel="ugc">ftp://192.168.16.3</a>&nbsp;I got the error 550 - no such host is known. <br />

So what might I have done wrong?<br />
