Folder Restriction

Dear All,

The folder permission should be as follows:

1) everyone can read, write, rename the contents of the folder
2) But they cant delete a single file in that folder.

I tried by giving only read and write access without giving modify access. It restricts the delete access but it wont allows us to rename a file in that folder.

Is there any solution?

I think you need to enable Inherit from the  parent folder.
Security
Advanced
Permissions and then mark the " Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries explicitly defined here."
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.
